- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder for dusting
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, and sugar.
- Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and coffee. Stir until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whip together mascarpone cheese and heavy cream until light and fluffy.
- Once the brownies have cooled, spread the mascarpone mixture over the top.
- Drizzle with coffee liqueur and dust with cocoa powder before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso.
