  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1 pound fresh salmon
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions.
  3. While the rice is cooking, prepare the salmon by seasoning it with soy sauce and baking for 15 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cooked salmon with mayonnaise, sriracha, and chopped green onions.
  5. Spread the sushi rice in a baking dish and top with the salmon mixture.
  6. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and bake for 10 minutes until cheese melts.
  7. Garnish with avocado slices and nori strips before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less sriracha.
  • Serve with pickled ginger and soy sauce on the side.
