Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 pound cooked salmon, flaked
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the sushi rice until the water is clear and drain.
  3. Combine rice and water in a pot, bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Mix mayonnaise and sriracha in a bowl.
  5. Flake the cooked salmon and mix with soy sauce and green onions.
  6. In a baking dish, layer the cooked rice, then the salmon mixture, and top with mayonnaise mixture.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Garnish with nori strips and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with extra sriracha on the side for added heat.
  • This dish can be made ahead and baked when ready to serve.
