This Pistachio Mousse with Chocolate Ganache is an elegant and easy dessert that will delight your guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pistachios, shelled
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin

Instructions

  1. Blend the pistachios with half of the heavy cream until smooth.
  2. In a bowl, combine the pistachio mixture with sugar, vanilla, and remaining cream.
  3. Heat the milk and stir in the gelatin until dissolved.
  4. Combine the ganache ingredients in a saucepan over low heat.
  5. Pour the mousse into serving dishes and top with ganache.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a nuttier flavor, toast the pistachios lightly before blending.
  • This mousse can be made a day in advance.
