  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 large bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and bell pepper, sauté until soft.
  3. Add the turkey bacon to the skillet, sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the bacon is crispy.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the shredded provolone cheese.
  5. Place mixture onto slices of low-carb bread, roll them up tightly, and place in a baking dish.
  6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
