  • 2 pounds potatoes, diced
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine potatoes, smoked sausage, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, mix sour cream and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the sour cream mixture over the potato and sausage mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer to a greased baking dish and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Return to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
