  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled and chopped apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped apples.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before slicing and serving.
